We could focus on the deeper side of society, we can interview the people and find out about their lives to really show the real human behind every picture. We can collaborate with the Youth initiatives & Democracy group for this. By joining forces with other groups we will make this a richer experience.
In addition, we love to travel, discover new places and meet new people everyday, discussing and finding about new points of view and enrich each other.
Furthermore, I study architecture so it could be interesting photograph every singular building in that part of the World.

Interest and Goal: Volunteering at Roskilde Festival in 2017 was an amazing experience for me. It taught me to work in a team atmosphere during a very turbulent period. We had terrible weather but great chemistry and camaraderie. The V4L program was only 1 week, so a trip to the United States for a month would be an amazing experience.
I would like ot work with the Youth Initiative and Democracy Working Group. I feel my experience in coordinating activities and being a leader would be a great additive to the implementation of the project. I also love working with people and learning what is their needs and interests. I try to keep my ears open to the ideas from others. so this Working Group is up my alley.

Interest and Goal: I would like ot visit the United States again. I have been there in the past and stayed with a family in Atlanta. I spent the Christmas and New Years in Georgia and met many musicians. Over the last year, I have been making music and taking music production courses. I would like to use some of the tools I have learned and make new friends in the process.

Interest and Goal: I have never been to the united States so this would be an amazing experience. I have been a fan of HipHop and Urban culture. I want to experience the history and culture firsthand if I visit. I want to learn about the history of hiphop and where are the areas it came from. Some people believe that the clothes, jewellery, shoes, and speech makes HipHop culture. I think its the people and their experiences.

As a Blackman in Denmark, I feel I have feet in both worlds, but I dont really know about US culture and that world, so this will give me a new education and growth for the future.

Interest and Goal: I would like to implement the project and make sure that activities happen on time and stay in within the precieved budget. I will be involved in the writing of the application, implementatiokn of the activities and finalizing the program and turning in the results and financial obligations.
I would like to work within the Social Media & Communication working group. I believe I would like to assist in the collection and archiving of information which will be created during the exchange. I believe my job will be very rigid and based on the overall implementing of the daily program, so I dont believe I will have direct work within the working groups but I am willing to join and be active in any areas requested by the group. I hope to visit areas in the United States which I havent seen in awhile including parts of New England and hopefully Vermont (although this might be a pipedream because it is out of the way).

Interest and Goal: I left the Roskilde really surpised and pleased of the great vibes that we had in the volunteering group and the job we did. In summer 2019 I will finish my bachellor, and I’ll have time again for this kind of events, so I would really like to repeat and be part of this project.

I think I could help the group in the tasks of making photos and video production, recently I purchased a GoPro cam and I think it would be really cool to make a video with music or something like this about the experience of all the volunteers (first of all, I have to learn how to use it, but I guess I have enough time). Otherwise, I don’t care if I have to contribute or be part of another group, like music (I play the guitar), social media and communication…
I hope this programm will be able to move on, I’ve always wanted to go to America and i know this is the best way I can enjoy this experience, despite I won’t be able too watch any NBA game (I’m a huge fan :D).
